Sublimation Blanks for Vibrant Color Transfer
Sublimation blanks for kids, cut from 70/30 poly interlock
Every sublimation blank we stock is a 6+ oz 70% polyester / 30% cotton interlock, and every one of them is white. That is not us being lazy with the colour range — dye-sub ink gasses into a light polyester surface, and white is the only ground that lets your full colour range come through the way it looked on screen.
The 30% cotton is a deliberate call. A 100% polyester blank gives you the punchiest possible colour, but it also feels like a sports jersey. Our interlock lands softer and drapes better on a toddler, and the trade is a slightly gentler, more vintage-looking print. Most of the boutique and craft-fair sellers we ship to prefer that look. If you need maximum saturation for an athletic design, you want a 100% poly blank — we would rather say so up front than have you press thirty shirts and be disappointed.
What we stock
Seventeen styles, newborn through youth 12. Short and long sleeve tees for boys and girls, with the girls' versions in a shoulder ruffle that keeps the chest panel clear. Infant bodysuits in short sleeve, long sleeve, ruffle and puff sleeve, all with our snap-open back so the piece lays flat on the platen instead of fighting you as a closed tube. Infant gowns with a hidden zipper that opens the full length. Sun bubbles and short sleeve bubbles. Bibs and burp cloths built as two layers — poly interlock face for the transfer, chenille terry back that actually absorbs. And a knot cap beanie with a fold-up brim for name-and-date presses.
Tees run 6M, 12M, 18M, 2T, 3T, 4T, 5T, 6 and 8, with girls' styles carrying on through 10 and 12. Bodysuits run 0-3, 3-6, 6-9, 12 and 18 months. Gowns, bibs, burp cloths and beanies are one size.
Before you press
Temperatures, dwell times and the fabric behaviour behind them are all in our sublimation blanks guide — worth ten minutes before your first run on a new style. If you are embroidering rather than pressing, our 100% cotton line is in shirt blanks, and the full infant range is in baby blanks.
Questions we get
Are these 100% polyester? No — they are 70% polyester, 30% cotton interlock. Sublimation bonds to the polyester content, so colour holds through washing, but the cotton softens the hand and the print reads slightly more vintage than it would on 100% poly.
Why is everything white? Dye-sub ink is translucent and needs a light ground. On a coloured blank the shirt colour shows through and shifts your design. White gives you accurate colour.
What sizes do you carry? Newborn 0-3 months through youth 12, depending on style. Sizes are listed on each product page.
Is there a minimum order, or do I need a Tax ID? Neither. Order one piece or a hundred, and you do not need a resale certificate to check out.
How fast do these ship? Same or next business day from our warehouse in Attalla, Alabama, on in-stock orders placed during business hours.
