Sublimation blank short sleeve infant bodysuit: 70/30 poly interlock, a snap-open back, in white, and 5 sizes running from 0-3 through to 18 months.
Short sleeves and a clear front panel, with the snap-open back that lets all 5 sizes lay flat under the press. There is nothing in the transfer area to work around, which is why this is usually the first blank a shop presses when it is still dialling in time and temperature.
All 5 sizes, measured flat:
- Length: 15.75 in at 0-3 months, 18 in at 6-9 months, 20.5 in at 18 months
- Width armpit to armpit: 8.5 in at 0-3 months, 9.25 in at 6-9 months, 10 in at 18 months
- 5 sizes: 0-3, 3-6, 6-9, 12 and 18 months
White only, and that is chemistry rather than a stocking choice. Sublimation ink gasses into the polymer and takes the color of the ground with it, so a dark or heavily colored blank returns a muddy transfer. 1 white ground is what makes a full-color design come back the color you designed it.
The 70/30 poly interlock is the compromise that matters: enough polyester for the ink to bond permanently, enough cotton for a hand that does not feel like 100% poly on a newborn. A 100% poly blank presses brighter; this one is the version a customer will actually put on a baby.
For cooler months the long sleeve bodysuit is the same body, and the puff sleeve version adds a gathered shoulder. No minimums, no Tax ID required.
Frequently Asked Questions
How does the snap-open back work for hooping?
Our bodysuits feature snaps running down the full length of the back, allowing you to lay the garment completely flat for easy hooping. No more wrestling with tiny armholes. Snaps at the crotch make diaper changes easy too.
Are these onesies true to size?
Yes. We build in a shrinkage allowance so our bodysuits remain true to size after washing. The 6+ oz combed cotton interlock will feel about 25% thicker after the first wash as the fibers swell.
What makes this a sublimation blank vs a regular blank?
Our sublimation blanks use a 70% polyester / 30% cotton blend that allows sublimation ink to bond permanently. Regular blanks are 100% cotton, which is better for embroidery but won't hold sublimation prints.
